Style at Sea: Family Activity Day
Saturday 20th May 2017This event has passed.

Ever wondered what passengers on the luxury Ocean Liners used to do for fun on their long journeys at sea? In conjunction with our new exhibition Style at Sea, the Scottish Maritime Museum will be holding a family activity day themed around just that! Visitors can enjoy a variety of complimentary family-friendly activities, testing their skills on a range of games commonly played on board ocean liners, such as quoits and shuffleboard. There will also be a range of craft activities as well as opportunities for object handling throughout the day. And you can also have a guided tour of the exhibition itself, giving a flavour of what it was to travel on board a liner during their golden era.

Event suitable for all the family. No booking required – just drop in!
