Night at Kinneil House and Museum
Friday 19th May 2017

A special evening event at Kinneil Museum, and its neighbouring 16th century mansion, Kinneil House to see our Museum in full festival spirit!

There will be evening events in the museum and the opportunity to tour the neighbouring Kinneil House from 6 – 7.30pm (last admission 7pm). The Museum will be open a little longer – from 6 – 9pm. Pop in and claim a goody bag while stocks last and enjoy special activities. As dusk falls, gather for a trek around Kinneil Estate, learning lots of fascinating facts about edible and medicinal plants and flowers, and culminating in some bat spotting!

Organised by the Friends of Kinneil charity in association with Falkirk Community Trust, Falkirk Council and Historic Environment Scotland.

Venue

Kinneil Museum is located in the B-listed 17th century stable block of Kinneil House. The ground floor tells the story of Bo'ness town , th e upper floor offers an intpretation of Kinneil Estate, a designed landscape which includes the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site and the John Muir Way.
