Glamorous Georgians: Culzean Castle and Country Park
Sunday 21st May 2017This event has passed.

Our bus will take you around three main South Ayrshire attractions, all you have to worry about is getting yourself a ticket!

The Georgians loved jelly! The Georgian era was one of intellectual curiosity and discovery, often reflected in the playfulness of their food. Using a variety of flavours, colours and abundance of imagination there will be layered jellies, fruit jellies and some that might not look like jelly at all! Join historical interpreter Kathy Hipperson in the Georgian Kitchen as she investigates these extravagant dishes, suitable for any 18th century table.

Please note that unless in possession of a full Castle admission ticket or a National Trust for Scotland membership, your ‘Glamorous Georgians’ ticket allows access only to the Georgian Kitchen.
