Cumbrae Twins with Papua New Guinea
Saturday 20th May 2017This event has passed.

Discover the fascinating life of Andrew Goldie, the explorer who led an expedition through Papua New Guinea, at our family fun day!

On his expedition to collect plants, Goldie discovered the Bird of Paradise, still known as Goldie’s Bird of Paradise. We’ll have Goldie themed workshops running throughout the day, including jewellery making, creating mini gardens, artistic workshops and creating a Cumbrae Bird of Paradise which will be displayed as part of the exhibition.

Our friends at Owl Magic will be there throughout the day.
