Could You Be A Keeper? Lighthouse Keepers' Bootcamp
Saturday 14th May 2016This event has passed.

Have you got what it takes to become a lighthouse keeper? Can you climb to the very top of our lighthouse, heroically rescue someone from a shipwreck (fingers crossed the weather is not that bad on the day!) or use a Marconi radio? You’ll definitely need our Lighthouse Keepers’ Bootcamp to fill the shoes of our amazing former keepers. Get hands-on experience of what life was really like for a lighthouse keeper, and gain the vital skills to keep our seafarers safe – learn to tie knots, make your own weather vane or send messages using signal flags. You’ll be beaming with pride when you gain your Bootcamp certificate – with a stamp for every activity you complete. Will you rise to the dizzying heights of Principal Keeper? Come to our event and find out!

Suitable for all ages.
